Denver Feb 10, 2010
These Pictures are really posted in reverse... The first two images are the last I took on this trip. On my way to the Airport I pulled off the road and snapped two quick pictures... as soon as I pulled over a police officer stopped to see what I was doing... Umm no relevance of that to these pictures However there were a bunch of prairie dogs running around while i was out of the car. The police officer told me not to worry about them so I didn't. I also didn't take any pictures of them.
The rest of the pictures were taken at the Red Rocks Amphitheater near Denver. I like the lines from the seats that draw your eyes to the red rocks. The picture is a rectangle and there is a smaller rectangle inside made by the blue sky. Probably a little under exposed but I don't care. The person at the top with the red coat really pops.

Street Musician
This picture was taken in Central Park, November of 09. I was in town for the NYC Marathon and Killing a day in the park. I love the Black and White shot but I think the two pictures really go together.
Santa Monica... I kept trying to get a great shot of this guy and I couldn't do it. I circled him twice and still couldn't get it right. Finally he stopped and said "Hey Man... take my picture." This is it.
Boston 09: I had just finished a nine mile run down by the river when I walked past this guy... I went back to the room got my camera and he was still playing.
I will probably be the only person in the world to ever like this shot because you had to hear him play to understand the contrast. He was clearly not happy that I was taking his picture, I think you can see the anger in his face but at the same time he was playing beautifully...

Detroit: HockeyTown
On my way to ACC Women's Basketball
Destination Winston Salem: Pulled off the Interstate near Wytheville, VA.
I was taking pictures of a run down motel when a woman noticed me taking pictures. She approached me and asked me to check out the view from her back yard. This was it... I like the subtleness of the ice covered trees... but I really like the fact that a stranger approached me and pointed out something beautiful in her world.
